Like most good ideas, this one started with people sitting around talking about what’s happening in the world around us… and realizing how completely unprecidented it has been. The idea behind Shitshow came from one simple truth: We are in a messy time, and living in it can be messy. People in charge are making questionable decisions and the fallout is ridiculous. And somehow, the best stories usually come from the moments that didn’t go right. So, let’s indulge and look at the humor of it all. After seeing how games could bring people together, the goal became clear: build a game that makes adults laugh about the chaos instead of stressing about it. Every card in Shitshow was created from scratch with that mission in mind — real situations, relatable humor, and moments that make people say, “Okay, am I the only one seeing this?”   The game was built around the shock value, you bring. It’s built around shared human experiences — the kind that cross backgrounds, ages, and friend groups. Because when people sit down and start laughing together, walls come down. Conversations open. And suddenly, everyone remembers we’re all just trying to figure life out as we go. Today, Shitshow exists for one reason: To help people disconnect from stress, connect with each other, and remember not to take life quite so seriously.
